Sentry Secure Click : for Encryption/Decryption of data files for desk top :

Sentry Secure click is an application that allows you to use a Sentry USB Token as two factor authenticator to protect the privacy of your sensitive files by Encrypting files. Once the file has been encrypted, it can be stored even on insecure media and still remain secret. Later, the data can be decrypted into its original form, again by presenting the Sentry USB Token.

The encryption/decryption implemented is based on trusted algorithms and are virtually impossible to break, which is ensured by a seed value derived from unique identity of Sentry USB Token.

Software organisation where PC was shared or the data was easily accessible on network, was prone to internal attack creating huge revenue loss. Sentry Secure click was used to secure the sensitive files by encrypting them.

Digital certificate storage in Sentry USB Token

As more and more people send confidential information and important documents by e-mail, or through internet it is increasingly important to be sure that documents sent are not forged, and to be certain that messages you send cannot be intercepted and read by anyone other than your intended recipient.

The use of Digital certificate/ID can prove your identity in electronic transactions in a way that is similar to showing your passport when you cash a check from bank.

Security and Movablity of the certificate are the major concern of the user. Digital certificate has to be stored on a very secure medium for preventing its unauthorised use. Traditionally it was stored on the browser or the hardware, which was vulnerable to misuse. If the certificate is deleted by unauthorised person or if the hard-disk is formatted then it creates a huge havok to the user.

Hence there was a need for an external medium like smart card, USB token etc, to store the digital certificate. Sentry USB token serves as a secure medium for storing Digital certificate. WYSE provides the mechanism to store digital certificate upto max of 4 in Sentry USB Token, not exceeding memory size of 8 KB.
